At N.E.W. Coatings, we stand behind the quality of our floor coating systems and workmanship. Our residential coating systems are designed to provide long-lasting durability, UV stability, and excellent adhesion when properly installed and maintained. Our coating systems are built for long-term durability and professionally installed using industrial-grade surface preparation methods.

We proudly offer a Residential Limited Lifetime Warranty for qualified residential installations.

What Is Covered

Our warranty covers residential coating systems installed by N.E.W. Coatings against:

• Hardening of material
• Peeling of material
• Delamination of material
• Chipping due to product failure
• UV discoloration/yellowing

This warranty applies to coatings installed on properly prepared residential concrete surfaces and remains valid for the original purchaser for the lifetime of the installed system.

Warranty Conditions

To ensure long-term coating performance, all surfaces must be properly prepared and suitable for coating application at the time of installation.

Coverage applies only when:

• The coating system is installed by N.E.W. Coatings or its authorized installers
• The substrate is structurally sound
• The coating is used in its intended residential application
• Full payment for the project has been received

What Is Not Covered

While our coatings are extremely durable, certain conditions are outside the control of N.E.W. Coatings and are not covered under warranty.

The warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:

Moisture & Hydrostatic Pressure

• Hydrostatic pressure
• Excessive moisture vapor transmission
• Groundwater or moisture-related slab failures
• Moisture-related failures beneath the slab are not coating failures

Concrete & Structural Issues

• Cracks in the concrete before or after installation
• Concrete movement or settling
• Expansion, shifting, or substrate failure
• Improper or deteriorating concrete conditions

Physical & Chemical Damage

• Abuse or intentional damage
• Impact damage
• Scratches or gouging from heavy equipment or metal edges
• Exposure to harsh chemicals, acids, or solvents
• Burns or hot tire damage outside normal residential use

Environmental & External Causes

• Natural disasters or acts of God
• Flooding
• Saltwater exposure
• Corrosive chemical exposure

Surface Variations

• Texture or color variations in repaired areas
• Slip resistance under wet, icy, or greasy conditions
• Sheen loss/fading

Important Safety Notice

Floor coatings may become slippery when wet or contaminated with water, oil, dust, or other materials. Customers are responsible for maintaining safe conditions and exercising caution in potentially slippery environments.

Warranty Limitations

Approved warranty claims are limited to repair or replacement of defective coating materials at our discretion. This warranty does not cover labor costs, consequential damages, or loss of use.
